The QE2 Hospital in Welwyn Garden City is under attack. Health bosses have called in PriceWaterhouseCoopers who have advised that the only way to correct the financial deficit is to all but close down our hospital. The people of Welwyn Hatfield disagree and find the alternative plan -- to send virtually all patients up to the Lister in Stevenage -- completely unacceptable.
